Have you signed up yet as a paid subscriber? It will be a private Zoom call, exclusive to paid subscribers. Can’t wait to see you there and support you!
Here’s a limited-time offer to join Recovering Perfectionist.
Overthinking and overplanning are second nature for me as a Recovering Perfectionist. It’s a way for me to control all the what-ifs and feel more comfortable, more at ease. At least that’s what I’ve convinced myself. Can you relate?
Here’s the thing, control is an illusion for the most part. I know, I don’t love that either. However, it’s a harsh reality that once you accept, the easier it is to move forward with action and plans, trusting what’s most aligned for you.
You can only control certain things. Your decisions. Actions. Reactions. Mindset. Have you ever debated something for hours, weeks, days, months, or years?
Only to circle back and decide to make the change or move forward, much later than you could’ve?
I admit, I’ve been there many times. One scenario comes to mind. Last year, I learned about this entrepreneur networking group; it’s actually more of a community with business and social activities, as well as mastermind meetings.
The first time I heard about it was from a camp friend, Josh, an accountant and partner, at the HS mentorship meeting in January 2024. I knew it was for me. It sounded like camp for adults, and I missed those days!
Come August 2024, while volunteering at the Long Beach Clean Up day, my new beach clean-up buddy, Vinny, told me as we were walking the beach and chatting, “You know who does networking right, Adam. He runs this group called Whoggga.”
I find myself volunteering at the registration table for the HIA Women’s Leadership Conference in November 2024. Who am I standing next to at the table on both sides? Two Whogggis!
That evening, I finally agreed it was time. I completed the application, scheduled my interview, and signed up as a Whogggi!
I decided I am worthy. I decided to choose myself. I decided to trust myself and follow my intuition.
It’s a monthly membership fee, which is what kept me from joining right away.
Do I want to sign up for another financial commitment?
Will it be worth it?
Will I see the return on my investment?
Absolutely worth it! My only regret is not joining when I first heard about it back in January 2024.
I wonder how much further along I could have been with this kind of community, accountability, and support?

Here’s the thing: this doesn’t need to be you regretting not joining the Recovering Perfectionist community as a paid subscriber.
Why miss out on the community of similar people supporting one another? Chat will be open only to paid subscribers
Why miss out on “Tell Tomel” Group Coaching Q&A sessions?
Scheduled Quarterly, Zoom calls, private group session, but I’d like to see this become something more frequent, like every other month or monthly. Replay available.
Why not take advantage of this limited-time discount on the annual membership fee?
My 1:1 coaching rate is much higher than the Recovering Perfectionist annual membership rate. And you get access to ongoing group coaching calls and the opportunity to be coached 1:1 in group sessions.
Community + Coaching + Accountability
Will I be seeing you at the “Tell Tomel” Group Coaching session on this Wed, 7/30 at 5pm ET/ 2pm PT/ 10pm London? Would love to support you further!
